Watch the Hawks at Nationals – Live!

Once again, the USAFL has partnered with ESPN3 and GoLive Sports Cast to bring you the USAFL Nationals live from Sarasota and Bradenton, Florida!
After a long season where the Hawks showed off their tenacity as a team of road warriors, with numerous travelling dates over the summer, they make one final trip – looking to grow on last year’s Division 3 championship.
This year, the Hawks have been bumped up to Division 2, facing tougher competition from seasoned clubs. Joined by the Baltimore Dockers, who have been a thorn in Philly’s side all season, and the Nashville Kangaroos as East Coast representatives, there is a strong West Coast presence in the division.
Day 1 kicks off with the Hawks hitting Field 4 at 9 AM sharp, facing off against the Houston Lonestars. At 11 AM that same day, the Lady Hawks lead a side against the Columbus Cats (featuring additional members from Nashville, Tampa Bay, and the North Star), with the Hawks to be joined by members of the Boston Demons, Baltimore Dockers, and Arizona Hawks.
Highlighting the afternoon, the Hawks have the spotlight against the San Diego Lions on the featured Cooper’s Field at 1 PM. The day wraps up the way it starts, with the Lady Hawks side taking on the Sacramento Suns, filled out with New York Magpies reserves and Wisconsin Lady Wombats at 5 PM to close out a marathon day.
The Lady Hawks don’t get a break, with Women’s Division 2 semi-finals kicking off the day on Sunday the 13th. Whether they play at 8 AM or 9 AM remains to be seen – either way, coffee might be on the menu. The men’s side gets to sleep in, jumping in for an 11 AM match against the Nashville Kangaroos to wrap up Division play.

Women’s Division 2 finals start at 12 noon, with the 5th place match – hopefully, the Lady Hawks get to skip that one. Look forward to seeing them in the 1 PM Division 2 final.
Should the Hawkers come out at the top of their division and capitalize on their Eastern Regional Tournament success, they will face off against the top team in the other half of the division at 2 PM sharp, on the Cooper’s Field center stage.
